Job Description:

We’re seeking a highly-skilled designer who thinks systematically. In this role, you won’t be designing individual, one-off decks for clients. Instead, you will create the “ground truth” templates, robust slide layouts, and design logic that our AI engine uses to generate presentations automatically. You will bridge the gap between creative design and engineering, ensuring that whether our AI is generating a complex financial report or a sleek startup pitch, the output is consistently breathtaking, functional, and on-brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design high-quality, ultra-flexible master templates that serve as the foundational architecture for Decksy’s AI generation.
• Define structural design rules, typography constraints, and color palette logic so the AI knows exactly how to handle varying amounts of dynamic text and data.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers and product managers to map raw content to the most effective visual layouts.
• Test, review, and refine AI-generated slide outputs to ensure they meet the highest professional design standards.
• Continuously expand and innovate our core library of slide structures, infographics, and charts to stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Presentation Designer, Template Strategist, UX/UI Designer, or similar systematic design role.
• Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint and Google Slides, with a deep, technical understanding of Slide Masters, theme builders, and placeholder logic.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating scalable design systems, typography mastery, and a keen eye for modern layout structures.
• Strong “systems thinking” capability—you understand how to build designs that adapt beautifully to unpredictable, dynamic content.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and engineering teams.
